What’s New This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app for iOS 8 and iOS 9Minor bug fixes Ratings and Reviews Super! As an elementary school English as a second language teacher, I love Super Duper Fun Decks. Pictures are an indispensable tool for learning language. The pictures in this Fun Deck are a springboard for language production and comprehension. Teachers can use the images in conjunction with a sentence frame in order to structure and extend the students' responses. Sometimes I project the "card" from the iPad onto a screen and we play as a whole group. Other times I use the app to work with a smaller group of students so I can closely monitor their language production and listen to them explain their thinking. In whole group playing, student partners can confer with each other write their answers on a small white board. I award points for the correct answer AND for the partners explaining why they made the answer choice. Either way has the advantage of triggering metacognition as students have to explain their thinking. The teacher can also keep score within the app of the students' correct/incorrect responses. The colorful app keeps the students engaged and learning! App Privacy The developer, Super Duper Publications, has not provided details about its privacy practices and handling of data to Apple. Talking can be scary, but the help available is worth it. The sooner you address things, the sooner you can feel better and the better you will be in the long-run. If you are concerned about how your parents will respond, one option is to schedule a meeting with both of them or with one parent at a time.
Nice Deck Really handy and helpful. Review by Amy S posted on Posted on 10/3/16 Applying feeling words I pair the fun deck with photo feelings cards and ask the client the question on the card. I use to photo feelings cards as cues to answer the question. Usually given in a field of 3. I also use printed words of the feelings and have them choose. We also talk about more than one feeling that would work for the card. It helps to apply what the child knows (about feelings) and when they might feel that way. Sungazed by this time of the day. Walking the streets with no one to worry. I’ve been up tryna get my bread. Rolling around with my friends all day. Tryna find somethings to say. Tryna find
I'm against it, mainly because there's no set-up for it to actually mean anything in the story. Just because Star Wars did it with Luke and Vader doesn't mean it'd work here. The reason it worked there was because it was established well before "I am your father" that Luke's father and the person he thought he was mattered to him. It was a large part of what he was shaping his identity around. Thinking he was a heroic Jedi he wants to be like and then learning he is the monstrous Darth Vader was a huge blow to does not have anything like that in regards to his own father. The most his father shaped his identity is the headcanon that his absence is part of the reason he latched onto All Might as a father figure. Revealing that AFO is his birth father wouldn't/shouldn't mean anything because it doesn't make Midoriya question or reevaluate anything about himself. It'd be a shocking twist and that's it You might as well have had Bill Cipher be revealed as Soos' father in Gravity Falls. That technically had more set-up for that kind of twist than MHA does and it'd be equally as meaningful, which is to say not at one of the dumbest things about this theory beyond it being heavily based just in the fact that Horikoshi likes Star Wars is that people insist it has to be true simply because Midoriya's father never showing up or being someone important would be a plot hole, which...no, No, it wouldn't. Midoriya's father can't be a plot hole when he's not even part of the plot. The man was mentioned ONCE in the entire story, all the way back in chapter 1, and it was only in reference to what his Quirk was and thus what to maybe expect Midoriya to have. The story has NEVER told the audience to expect him to be someone important to its narrative.
